ISAAC DAVID GREENETZ
Over 20 years as a residential designer, the last 11 as Principal and head of design at Citizen Design, the architecture arm of the Collaborative companies in Seattle, I saw the same challenges: most design isn't a talent problem, it's a trust problem. When clients lose confidence in their designer, they start leaning on the contractor to solve design problems mid-construction, and the original concept doesn't survive. I've also learned that a tight budget isn't the enemy of good design, it's just another constraint to design around, and often the ones that force the best solutions.
IDG WORKS exists to close that gap. I stay engaged through construction, not just through the drawings, so the concept survives contact with the job site. That same range shows up in the work itself: I can take almost any style, budget, or constraint and make it look intentional. Not one signature look, but knowing which one a project needs and executing it well, and making the process fun along the way, not just the reveal at the end.
I have a B.Arch from Cal Poly SLO, a wife who's also a residential designer (SHED), and two sons who keep us both honest about what "livable" actually means.
